Clear blue water in Surin???

I am planning on heading to PHUKET for the first time in two weeks. I was hoping if someone could tell me what the water is like??? clear blue and calm or cloudy and rough at this time of the year in Surin. Are the water conditions similar at kata beach ???

Clear blue water in Surin???

I have just come back from Phuket and I can not say that the beaches there are crystal blue. You can see the bottom from the shallow but as you go out deeper (waist height)to the markers along Patong beach the waters are cloudy. Surin was more of a local community, away from the touristy area, and is about 15min from Patong.It is close to the FantaSea Elephant Show.

These beaches were less crowded and a little cleaner.The temp over ther at the moment is about 30-35 and humid. Perfect beach weather.

I am staying at Benyada Lodge, Surin beach now. I%26#39;ve ever been both Surin and kata beach. both beaches had similar clear blue water. but surin beach less crowded, quieter, more relaxing than kata.
