We are planning a trip to Thailand for next year and need to travel in June. Will the water be too rough to snorkel and swim in and around Phi Phi at that time? Also, we have only 14 nights for the trip and would like to visit Phuket and Bangkok as well. Any suggestions on how many nights to spend where. We are a couple in our 50%26#39;s and not interested in much shopping or wild nightlife.
Phi Phi swimming and snorkeling in June
Hi Jaleha,
You will be able to swim and snorkel in June, but you may have to find some sheltered areas to do the snorkelling. Phi Phi Island Village is a nice resort (more upmarket than most others) and is fairly quiet as it is away from the main town. Given shopping and nightlife aren%26#39;t a priority it might well suit. You can organise snorkelling trips with the resort and there are some nice spots nearby, but not directly accessible from the resort without a boat or kayak.
