Recommendations on a good Shoemaker

Hi,

I was wanting to find out if you could get shoes/boots made in Thailand. I will be in BK for four days; Koh Lanta for four days and Phuket for four days so if anyone can recommend a shoe maker at any of these locations that would be greatly appreciated.

I have used Siam Bootery on Sukhumvit by the Asoke Skytrain station for 4 pairs of men%26#39;s shoes. I am happy with the shoes, the oldest of which I have had for 2 years. I am not sure they can get them done in 4 days though.

Great - Thanks for the feedback. On my return I have another night in BK so I can pick them up then giving them 2 weeks to make the shoes. Could you give me an idea on price?

Also take a look at Friendship Leather in Phuket, I had two pairs of boots made, really great quality and gorgeous leather. My husband also got a jacket made.

Great service, took 4 days, so you would have to visit on your first day in Phuket.

The boots individually were 3250 baht but because I got two pairs made I%26#39;m pretty sure I paid 3000 baht each.

They were long boots (just under the knee). with high heels.

They have samples of leather in all colours and several heels to choose from.

I%26#39;ve worn them several times since my return and they are great.
