Hi guys, can anybody shed some light on the above property, will be my first trip to h/h and was looking for some thing around the 60-80 au price point. Thanks
bacchus home resort
Bacchus firstly is not in Hua Hin itself, it%26#39;s in the next %26#39;area/town%26#39; down which is Pranburi. About 30 minutes from Hua Hin.
It%26#39;s a very quiet area although there are plenty of local places to eat along the beach coast area. The local village area has some shops and it%26#39;s a very local feel. Weekends it would be fairly busy all year round but weekedays probably relatively quiet unless in the peak season Nov-Feb.
The resort/hotel is pleasant enough but be certain yourself that you want to be in the Pranburi area as opposed to being in Hua Hin.
A lot of agents put these places under Hua Hin and sometimes are not clear as to location.
It should be around AU$ 65 for a twin with breakfast, but I would go the extr $4-5 and get a seaview.
I would rate 2 star+. I would rate beach as similar to what you might find north of Cairns ( if you have been that way ), pleasant but don%26#39;t expect crystal clear waters !
If you just want rest and relaxation in a small probably %26#39;un-busy%26#39; place then fine, but do note the journey to/from Hua hin for when you want shopping or an evening out. Local places as said in the Bacchus area put don%26#39;t look around expecting a choice of cuisines, for that you need to go into Hua Hin town itself.
Hope that gives an idea.

Thank you Monica for your prompt reply I had no idea of the properties exact location. Can you suggest somewhere to stay in hua hin during may/june in the heart of things for a month at around 50 - 60 au.I am not expecting 5 star but a decent pool is a must on the beach if possible..your advice is greatly appreciated..thank you
