Baby friendly?

We are planning a family trip to Cha-am in early June and we are planning to travel with our baby who will be 11mths old. We are still contemplating whether it is a suitable place to bring our kid for a vacation. Anyone has experience bringing your baby to Cha-am? Is it a baby friendly place? How%26#39;s the water and the food for baby?

Baby friendly?

certainly safe.

I brought my boy there since he was 1 yrs old.

He will enjoy small sea creatures just on the sand. Cha-am and Hua Hin beach is famous for sea shells and there are really alot on the sand. Small crabs, the walking shells (don%26#39;t know what it%26#39;s called), for example.

I would recommend beach at Holiday Inn, Beach Garden resort, Veranda resort, as it has not road in between and the beach has large sand area for the babies to crawl.

(I have a condo there and bring my son for years)

Baby friendly?

I travelled with a very large group last year a few of which had very small children and we all went to cha-am together. They did find the heat a little too hot sometimes. Chaam beach has hundreds of parasols and so there will be plent of shade on the beach.

Just make sure you only give them bottled water, avoid tap water and ice as it is not safe. Also, many books recommend avoiding raw fruits and vegetables that have been washed in tap water.

There is a large Big C supermarket and Watsons pharamcy store, but it is 30 mins driving from Chaam.

True about the fruits.

You can buy fresh (unpeeled) from supermarkets and its okay. The cut ones available on the beach (carried by vendors) are not good as it goes bad easily witht he heat, not talking about the water yet.
