Centara Villas Samui or Imperial Samui Hotel

Hi,

We have narrowed the hotel search down to these two hotels. Any suggestions on which one would be the best for a mom and her two teenage daughters? We are not looking for night life. Will be doing some tours and possibly cooking classes. Want to find somewhere relaxing. Thanks in advance!

hello i have just boooked into the centara villas samui for later on this year and u wont be dissapointed i am led to believe. They do cookery classes and tours from the hotel. It is quite some way from the lively towns but the hotel put on a free shuttle to the town 5 times a day and a taxi averages just 6 pound each way. So not really that expensive if you missed the last free shuttle back. Also it is meant to be the best place in samui for relaxing. It is peaceful and has all the amenities that you are looking for inc 3 pools etc. Food is meant to be quite expensive but just a few yards down the hill there are 2 rests and a bar which are priced more locally! Cheap!! Dont know much about the other hotel but from what i read you wont be dissapointed with the samui village. Nicely located away from all the bustle for the peace and not too far from the town to get taxi for bit of shopping or partying. If you want to know anything else email me on kristopher.bennett@highways.gsi.gov.uk

thanks

I have been to the Imperial Samui twice (speaks for itself). Have just returned from Maurtius and found it no comparison to Ko Samui! I would recommend the Imperial because of it%26#39;s location. It%26#39;s a bit out of town but only 5-10 mins by taxi into the centre of Chewang which is a bit busy but the girls will love it! The Imperial has a lovely %26#39;feel%26#39; to it and I%26#39;ve already started saving to go back next year!
