Female Single traveller staying Phuket for a week

Hi Guys,

This will be my first trip to Thailand and I am staying in Phuket for a week on my own before meeting up with a friend. Any suggestions on what area / resort to stay in as I do want to go out in the evenings and also meet other travelers..any helpful hints on also what to do out there will be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure what your budget is etc but I stayed at Casa Brazil at Karon Beach by myself and it was the perfect spot. The website is www.phukethomestay.com

It was within walking distance of the beach, and also Kata Beach.

Have to agree with Reet, the Casa Brazil is great especially if your on your own.

In a great location, close to bars, places to eat, the beach and markets!

And the price is great too!
