good indian food

hi guys

can any one recomend a good indian restauant in bangkok and if so is it expensive .we are staying at the royal orchid sheraton and wondered is the any good restaurants within walking distance .

There are several in Suriwong Road (river end) including Indian Hut. Dili is in Silom Soi 11.

Several hotels have good but expensive Indian restaurants. Take a look at this:

There is a great Indian restaurant right on the southeast corner of Sukhumvit Soi 12.

Not pricey by Bangkok standards - though Indian food is not cheap here compared to India. Quite cheap compared to the UK.

Rang Mahal at Rambrandt Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi..(I can%26#39;t remeber the soi)

Don%26#39;t know the area round your hotel but as others have said there are many round Sukhumvit

Just before Soi 7 on Sukhumvit on the corner of Soi 12 there is a second floor restautant

Inside Soi 11 and the small sub Soi on the left and Soi 11/1 again on Sukhumvit there are many really good Indian restaurants. There is also one just into Soi 3 on the left.

You really will be spoilt for choice

A couple of nice (and reasonable) Indian restaurants in Nana - close to Grace Hotel - authentic and tasty.

For real, authentic and cheap Indian food, there are a lot of places around the back on Pratuman Market and at the base of Baiyoke Sky. Much better than the tourist places!!!
