bangkok airways

has anyone flown this airline .bangkok-phuket

and is it right that they have private lounge at bangkok suvarnabhumi airport- that even economy class can use

bangkok airways

an zexcellent airline and yes they have their own lounge for all passengers at suvarnabhumi airport. Not a Low Cost Carrier though, so you pay for what you get. Their prices are similar to Thai Airways.

I used their service out from Luang Prabang. Perfect. Nothing to be complained. Happy to fly again with them.

we are traveling with bangkok airways singapore to ko samui then ko samui to bangkok worried about being over on our luggage weight do they do a business class on these flights and would we be allowed more weight if not any ideas how much do they charge a kilo thanks

Yes, there is Business Class but the baggage allowance appears to be 20kg checked and 5kg unchecked. See their website at:

Excellent Airline and Service - we paid economy prices but got Business Class treatment.

Gotta agree that Bangkok airways is a good little airline with fewer cancellations than their competitors and they also tend to be on time MORE OF THE TIME! alas they are now expensive.

One more vote for Bangkok Airways. Best domestic/regional airline in SE Asia, and that includes consideration for Thai Airways. No other airline has a private lounge for even economy class passengers, and that includes free food, drinks and wifi. Service and aircraft are top notch.

Yes! The lounge is upstairs and is available for Economy Class passengers. No luggage carts allowed, though. Includes snacks, drinks, Internet, %26amp; comfy seating.

Have they moved the lounge then? Last year after checking in on Level 4 you went down to the ground floor in the Domestic Terminal near the Departure Gate.

I was through domestic last week and the Bangkok Airways lounge is still downstairs across from the domestic gates.
