I have just come back from Bangkok and Phuket and loved it, I want to book to go back to Thailand but to 2 different places, I liked Patong so good night life is a must and i love deserted beaches but also like to go sightseeing, any suggestions????
Where shall i go???
Krabi has got some nice sights, you can mix quiet sightseeing with the busier Ao Nang Beach (not as busy as Patong) and quieter beaches nearby.
and then
How about exploring the North such as Chiang Mai or Chiang Rai, it is completely different from areas like Phuket and will give you different sightseeing experiences.

Also Hua Hin has some fantastic beaches.
