I am hoping to book flights from Singapore to Krabi for Oct 2008, does anyone know when Tiger Airways are likely to have details of these flights available? Also are there any alternative airlines that fly this route?
Singapore to Krabi - Tiger AirwaysWe have flown with Tiger to Krabi before and doing it again in Feb it is so so cheap. The earlier you book the cheaper it is. It was a great service, they will probably release flights 6 months in advance.

I think Tiger%26#39;s schedule changes around the end of March so you might not be able to book until nearer that time. I suppose you%26#39;ll just have to keep trying and see when it lets you do the booking. I have a vague memory of trying to book around this time last year for a trip at the end of March/beginning of April and I didn%26#39;t manage to get it booked until February (but I still got cheap flights so you should be OK for October).

air asia flies from KL LCCT to Krabi.
their flight departs from Kl at 1205h and arrives at Krabi at 1220h. Its a batter option if you wanna reach krabi in day time instead of night. however, theres the transfer which may be a hassle for some.
there is talk of Tiger dropping its Krabi and Phuket routes to concentrate on their Australia operations
Not before middle of Feb 08 I hope as we are doing this route with Tiger. I know they have reduced the amount of flights on this route because we had to change our day of travel.
I am looking at flights going singapore krabi middle of march and returning early april. going no probs returning cant get a flight ???
In that case I would think they are changing things. We booked our Tiger flights Singapore to Krabi and return which we are doing in Feb about 8 months ago.
The last time i wanted to book a Tiger airway tickets to Krabi in Nov for two tickets to Krabi on 28th Dec, on the day of booking, i couldnt find the date of departure i wanted.
When I called them up, they said it was fully booked!
How possible when i check two days ago and the plan was not even 1/3 filled for the SG-KBV flight.
Anyway, i would recommend getting the AIG travel insurance after what had happened to the flight departing for SG-KBV on 6th Dec 2008 which posed too many problems for the passengers. At least thats what i plan to do if i do take up any Tiger flights.
Sorry but i cant remember if it was on the 4th or 6th Dec 2007 incident but it was with regards to the flight delay and the passengers only took their flight on the next day.
