Royal Phuket Yacht Club (formerly Le Meridien) - does anyone

Does anyone know if the rooms or suites have been renovated. According to some posts people were complaining about stained carpets etc. but in all the photos I%26#39;ve seen, the floors are wood!

I think these are two different hotels, this one is on Nai Harn Beach, Le Meridian is just between Patong and Karon Beaches and does%26#39;nt have a yacht club to my knowledge. You may want to check the locations. Sue

Elaine, don%26#39;t let Gismo confuse you - you are quite correct the Royal Phuket Yacht Club is where you think it is and Gismo - there is another Meridien at Nai Hern!

Having said that I don%26#39;t know if the yacht club has been refurbished. I think it would be reasonable to email and ask them.

Thanks guys. No it didn%26#39;t confuse me but it certainly has the tour company - there seemed to be some confusion when our travel agent phoned through to try and book and in trying to sort this out it has now led to a delay in finding out if there is availability because unfortunately it is night there and of course Sunday tomorrow! and now we have to wait until Monday!! We fly out next Saturday! Any other info about the Yacht Club that anyone has please let me know.
