Was wondering if anyone has purchased a ipod or similar in Bangkok. If so any recommended places and prices?

You can try Fortune Town (Rama 9 on the subway) - three floors of electronics. Panthip Plaza but be careful of guaramntees and copies.

I bought my ipod at the Apple iStudio, 3rd floor of Siam Paragon. You might as well stick to the iStudio%26#39;s because you aren%26#39;t going to get a lower price for real ipods. Fortune town also has an iStudio and I think there are several more around bangkok.

iStudio in Fortune Town is great because the staff speak good English and it%26#39;s a lot less crowded than the ones in Pahntip Plaza and Paragon. There is also one is the Siam Centre.

Duty-free at BKK airport sells iPods and the prices are not bad at all, and for sure the best prices in Thailand. They even have a full line of other Apple products such as iMacs and MacBooks with decent prices.
