Long beach is the nicest beach in Koh Lanta. But if you are lookig for best water, then definitely go for Koh Poda .. the clarity is incomparable !

yeah Poda is nice, been there!.....but this will be our first time in Lanta....going to muk,kradan,ngai also.....but if you say Long Beach....great thanks!

For me personally I prefer Bamboo Beach. It is the most south of the island before national park and it away from the mass tourist. There is only a few resorts located on about one kilometer long beach. The water and the sand is more clear and white then the beach up north.

Any beaches further south of the island are the best. Long beach isn%26#39;t bad but I prefer Klong Nin and others. Stay away from Klong Dao beach.

Were there any beach bars? I don%26#39;t care about night life, but a nice beach bar at night is always great.

What was the swimming like??

Why stay away from Klong Dao beach? LP says it%26#39;s the best beach on Koh Lanta? And next bech south (long?) is not so good?

There are three resorts on the beach, two old one on the north and new one is at the middle of the beach. All in working distance, so it end up to have three resort%26#39;s restaurants and three beach bars. But don%26#39;t worry you can rent the motobike or use any resort taxi service to go to everywhere on Ko Lanta.

The swimming condition is good, the water here more clearer than the beach up north. The north part of the beach quite rocky but at the middle to the south is only fine sand.
