hi all, please can you help me? i think you can , i have to book a hotel in bangkok but i dont know waht its the best option and you have to help me...

can you recommend me a cheap and good hotel in the city center or in the center of the action and wel comunicated please help me tell me which one is better im a budget traveler but there a lot of hotels there and i have never been there and i dont know the places...

it is also a difficult things to answer. First, it depends to what you are looking for. Center of action can be anywhere around Khao San, Sukhumvit, China town...

Most of the backpackers are staying in Banglamphu near Khao San Rd.

Budget traveller guesthouse, check www.lamphuhouse.com or I (personllally) also like Tuptim (with shared bathroom only)... it really depends on how much you would like to give per night. Because what you think it is a budget traveller can be mid range in Thailand.

Really it will be easier when you can give more info.

What is budget? Most think below 1000 Baht per night. In Bangkok stay near a BTS station. Something like Samran place for 850 a night for one person and is in the middle of things with BTS access to many other areas.

Have a look at Majestic suites and also Majestic Grand (a little more expensive $AUD100 )

Hi;

Majestic grande is nice and close to Sukhumvit road.

However, I like the Majestic suites much better with a 1/2 price and even better location close to Nana

BTS station . I was in the M.S 2x in year 2007 and

I shall be back this hotel in May 2008 for holiday/vacation . It is a home for Me in Bangkok.
