Lebua at State Tower - very urgent - reply asap tdday

Hi All

I am looking at staying at the Lebua at State Tower for my honeymoon in late July. I have great deal at 37 UK pounds per night. I cannot get such a high qulaity Bangkok hotel at that price

Before I book it today a few questions..

1. Is this location any good? Some of my friends said stay near the river..

2. What is the surrounding area like? Are they any restaurants, supermarkets and places to eat

I want to see the sights and be near the shopping areas...

Hi, if you really have obtained a rate of 拢37.00p per night then you have bagged yourself a wonderful deal so don%26#39;t delay BOOK-IT !!! Lebua is located at the top end of Silom Rd and would only be a 5min(depending on traffic conditions) cab ride or 20min slow walk to Patpong/Lumpini park. In my opinion Lebua is not worthy of a 5* rating - i would only give it a 4* but at 拢37.00p per night it really is an awesome deal.

is it through a travel agent or a website?

It%26#39;s a good deal even at 60 quid, so... where%26#39;s the web site offering that price?

Just checked expedia and yes it is indeed showing 30% off BUT 拢70.00p per night is the total price that will be paid even after the 30% discount! NOT SUCH A GREAT DEAL METHINKS!!!

There are two offers at mo:

1. ON OFFICIAL HOTEL SITE - The more days you book the more discount is applied.

2. ON EXPEDIA

They are offering 30% of room rate. If you book 5 nights (double room - superior with breakfast) in July it is 拢74.72 per room per night.

Hence, coming to 拢37 per person per night.

Expedia is working out cheaper.

In your original post you stated 拢37.00p per night - silly old fool me just assumed that you meant 拢37.00p per room(or suite . . coz lebua is an all suite hotel) and not 拢37.00p EACH for two people sharing, thus making it 拢74.00p per night per suite. Still not a bad deal for Lebua but 拢74.00p could also get you the solitaire/platinum suite at the President solitaire Hotel or the Davis suite at the Davis Hotel - both of which in my opinion give you more for your money.
