Going on Monday....

We are flying out of NZ on Monday night to spend 10 days at the Orchid Resort with our 4 year old daughter.

I am so excited, any tips?

We are flying saturday from Brisbane and staying at Horizon Beach Patong for our third time. Maybe we will see you on the beach......

Drink plenty of bottled water (even to brush your teeth) and dont eat the melons.

Just Keep Smiling no matter how annoying it gets being asked if you need a tuk tuk taxi or suit made.

Must sees are definately, Phuket Fantasea, Simon Cabaret, Siam 4 in 1 Safari, Sea canoeing in Phang na bay was also great but you daughter may be a little young. The Thai%26#39;s love all kids so you will probably find she is doted on the whole time.

Dont book your tours until you get there because you can save heaps by booking locally.

We have been to India a number of times so have smiling practise.

Have you been there at new year before? We were thinking of going up to the Marriot to see the turtles released but don%26#39;t know anything ,uch more than that yet.

No we missed songkran last time by a couple of days, I am getting a bit worried because I cant find out what impact it has on tours and eating out etc. In our group we have 4 kids from 14 to 23mnths so may get to the turle release

The BBQ is a trip advisor thing. It goes onto 1opm so may be a bit late to be in the middle of nowhere with little kids.

The New Year can only be fun. Just don;t take anything out that you don%26#39;t want wet.
