hi...v are a grp of 4, travelling to thailand in apr end. We are departing on te 25th of apr to bkk. Do not know much what to do, we%26#39;ll be there till the 2nd of may...confused between phuket and ko-samui! Not sure if nightlife at phuket is better or at ko samui? yeah n since there r 2 gurls we are very much interested in shopping! Pls adv!

Hi SaniyaIndia, I would go Patong Beach (Phuket) good shopping ,food, and great nightlife. Koh Samui would be quieter type holiday.

Go to Phuket for what you are looking for. More flight choices, better flight prices and more to do at Phuket compared to Samui. Be ready to hire a ride from the airport to the beach area as it is probably a 40 minute trip. Last year I paid $550 Baht. You can find a ride back by keeping an eye out for little signs at the various businesses as you explore Phuket. Find the price that is right for you, make the deal and get names and phone numbers. Tell them to be there at least 30 minutes before you really want to leave in case they no show and you will have time to arrange alternate transportation to make your flight on time.
