looking for upscale villa resort 2 adults / 1 teen (13)

We are looking for a small, upscale (under 100 rooms) in or around Phuket with private pool villas, for our next trip in August. What would you recommend knowing our daughter is 13 but used to luxurious hotels ?

NB : we were considering the Racha or the Ayara Hilltops

Thanks for your advices.

How much do you want to pay? Try Trisara Resort, very up market and see reviews on this site and also at:

Unfortunately I can only dream of staying in heaven at Trisara but if I won lotto that is where I would be heading.

Trisara is over our budget unfortunately, otherwise I would stay there each time we travel to Thailand

:-)

Have you tried TwinPalms...they also have the Residences with private pools. OR the Lagoon rooms have access to the pool....it is a SLH (Small luxury Hotel of World) and looks fab...I am going in 10days!!! Cant wait

Hi

We stayed at Ayara hill tops 2 weeks ago, it was fantastic.

Although the resort was running at a fairly high capacity we never saw anyone. The private pool villas looked very nice. Unfortunately our budget did not stretch that far, we had a villa with the outdoor spa on the deck, this was still FANTASTIC. The main resort pool is a good and there are no hassles finding space to relax, most times we had the pool to ourselves. Staff will serve drinks to the pool when ever you want.

There is a good day spa, well equipt gym and the villas are well appointed. The staff are extremely attentive and polite. They are also very efficent.

I would stay at this resort again in a flash. If you want any more info just p.m me.

Hope this helps with the decisions.

If you don%26#39;t need to be directly on the beach, Alpina Phuket Nalina Resort looks very good - http://www.phuket.com/phuketnalina/index.htm
