Swiss Park Hotel

Hi

I am looking for a hotel in Bangkok (around 2000 baht) and must be near to nightlife and convenience (near BTS station).

I know Swiss Park Hotel in Sukhumvit fit the 2 criterias above but I would welcome any comment on this hotel.

Also if you think another hotel is better, pl let me know.

Thank you.

Swiss Park Hotel

Hi. I have ben to Bkk many times over the past few years, staying mostly at the Swiss Park.

In fact, I am staying there again from April 10th!

Being located on Soi 11/1 it is ideally placed for shopping and night-life, yet far enough removed from the main Sukhumvit Road to be fairly quiet at night.

The rooms are clean, the staff friendly, and the breakfast adequate ( but get there early!! ).

I have tried other hotels in Bkk, but in my opinion the Swiss Park ticks all the right boxes and for its price is very reasonable.

Believe me, there are MUCH worse !!! ( Do not even CONSIDER the Business Inn on Soi 11/1, near the Swiss Park !)

An alternative which I have used is the Ever Rich Inn. This is located actually ON Sukhumvit Road between Sois 5 and 7 ( You can easily miss it between the shops !). The rooms are spotless and modern, there is computer access, and the staff are very friendly. It is pricier than the Swiss Park at between 1400 and 1600 per night ( the 1600 gets a bigger bed and a window! ) and there is no free breakfast, but is excellent value.

I hope I have been of some help, and enjoy your stay.
