Amandara Island Resort Review

Having just 5 of the most relaxing days at this resort, i feel it is to good a secret to keep to myself.

Its is a 3 star hotel in a 6 star setting, and i mean this is the best possible way.

It may not have the flashnish of other hotels but what it has is bags of charm and character. The bungalows fit so well in there enviroment amgost the gardens and the trees.

We stayed in the Beach front Villa and cost us around 拢50 per night including breakfast, which is an absoulte steal as i would have happly paid that for the views from the balcony especially watching the sun set in to the see through the palm trees.

The villa%26#39;s itself i would say are modestly furnished but have everything that you would need to make your stay a very relaxing one. With the beach just feet from your balcony. Even the villa%26#39;s towards the back of the resort were no more than minute to the beach.

The pool area is very nice with a pool that over looks down to beach and the sea with plenty of sunbeds. Again the views were to die for!

The beach its self was very nice and very clean and untouched! yep paradise springs to mind with the beaching spreading probably for miles either way.

The staff although not having the greatest command of the english language were very friendly and would do anything to make you stay as special as possible. people complain about the lack of english speaking but to me again adds to the charm of the place we dont complain when visting greece that they dont speak english!

The resturant was nicely priced as were the drinks, considering that it is isolated and could probably get away with charging a lot more. A beer was 50bhats water 20bhats

As mentioned it is isolated but they have a taxi service that will run you to the pierr and pick you up after visting one of the few resturants.

Overall this is a perfect place to unwind and relax for 5-7 days.

I will post some pics when i have them off the camera.
