I am planning on travelling to Thailand next thursday or friday and I have been looking at the weather forecasts for the next 10 days and there is currently scattered thunderstorms forecast for every day. I was wondering if anyone knows what the conditions are like at present? I am planning on flying to bangkok and gettting an internal flight over to Koh Samui or the bus to Krabi.

No problem here. It%26#39;s Hot Hot Hot.
Scattered showers means 10 minutes like you%26#39;re under a bucket of water, then it%26#39;s over.
Anyway, it%26#39;s not the rainy season yet so don%26#39;t worry.
Scattered means you%26#39;ll watch the rain pass 50 metres away and not get wet - generally very localised.
I%26#39;ve seen one downpour in the last week, and it missed me.
Skies are blue, and Songkhrans coming - have fun.
This really makes me laugh ';it is not the rainy season'; we were in Krabi for two weeks in Feb, ';that is not the rainy season'; we saw plenty of rain, and sometimes all afternoon. It is a gamble whenever you go so go with the knowledge you could get wet!!!!
Krabi is not bangkok. We have not had a decent shower since October! Krabi%26#39;Phuket are far from bangkok and have completely differnent rainfall figures. The islands/coast are bound to get more rain. Central Thailand is parched!
