Bangkok Hotels--suggestions please

Hi all-

I%26#39;m looking for a nice but affordable hotel in the Kho san/rambruttri area with an outdoor pool. Am thinking something in the $60-$85 USD range (although less is good too :-)). Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!!!!

Not many places in that area have pools, because it%26#39;s primarily oriented toward backpackers and young budget travellers. With your budget, you%26#39;re in the high-end range, though and there are some pools.

Try the Viengtai Hotel: http://www.khaosanroad.com/viengtai/index.htm

Thanks for the suggestions but now we%26#39;re thinknig that we may stay in Sukhumvit instead. Any suggestions on good hotels there in the $50-$80 range with outdoor pools and near public transport and nightlife??

Thanks so much!!!

Hi,

My hubby and I will be staying at Adelphi Suites in June this year. It%26#39;s had some good reviews and I think that the rate is within price range, walking distance to Nana Skytrain, from photos its got a smallish but nice outdoor pool.

Their website is www.adelphisuites.com

Hope this helps :o)

CitiChic Boutique Hotel:

Brand new stylish hotel up Suk soi 13, within walking distance of Nana (they also run a courtesy tuktuk to the BTS).

Very small but cute pool on the roof. Rooms quite large and attractively furnished.
