Is there a risk of malaria from the mosquito bites in krabi? I am debating whether I should take malaria pills??

I don%26#39;t think you need to take Malaria pills,the only time we took them is when we went jungle treking in Kota Kinabalu.Just have a good repellant(tropical strength), which we always have on.The mozzies just love me.
