help please July Hotel needed for 2A & 2C

We have been to Phuket heaps but only have one Child, I have arranged travel today for family and they have 2 Adults and 2 children, we as the hotels i have stayed at only allow one child.. This is there first time to Phuket and want a resort type hotel with good kids facilities... the Kids are 8 %26amp; 11 Years both girls.. I suggested the Holiday Inn, but the Holiday in is booked out for 7th July out the 14 July (7 Nights), They like the Le Meriden as i sugguested this as they will allow them to share a room.. Dates are there and price is within there budget... But i have now looked at this again and kids have to share existing bedding which is a king size bed.. price was 1600 including breakfast for the 7 nights.. Could anyone suggest any hotels that are resort style and good for kids of this age.. also the Patong merlin is Book Out.. (School Holidays)

We are going to phuket in August for the first time and we are staying in the Hilton Aracadia resort. We are a family of four with 2 girls age 10 %26amp; 9. I cant comment on the cost, as my father in law has booked the holiday for us! Maybe worth having a look at? The hotel looks fab, and is well equipped for kids (has a pool slide). Hope this helps.

Hi there is the Movernpick in Karon - price wise thou maybe too expensive.

Also have a look at the Horizon Karon and also the Ramada which is in karon I think as well. Both of those have some kids facilities...but i wouldn%26#39;t mind guessing they will be too young for your girls.

Lastly have a look at the Laguna Complex, there%26#39;s about 3 resorts which have fantastic facilities for the kids, with kids activity program. The downside is that these resorts are 30mins out of patong.

As usual the Hol Inn wins time and time again, we book last Sept and got the last kids suite for June!

have stayed at laguna beach.fabulous, but already booked out, so we are staying at allamanda...2 bed suite that you can get to other laguna activities and resorts by shuttle bus or ferry...........we have 2 teenage children, and are going with another family with 2 teenage children on july 11 for 8 nights.................cost is about$990 for 10 nights, breakfast included until 15 july............ramada was about$700 for 8 nights, but looks too young for my kids..........goodluck

Try the Pacific Boutique Resort and Spa in Karon. It fitted what we needed for a 2 bed room for our family of four. Good reviews as well.

We stayed at the movenpick last Aug with a 10 %26amp; 12yo in interconnecting rooms. The villas are quite expensive, but we stayed in the deluxe ocean view rooms - MUCH cheaper and you still get to use all the resort facitlites.

15min tuk tuk ride to Patong. 10min walk through lusah resort grounds to beach. Good pizza bar across from beach. Three swimming pools, one with a slide (and pool bar for the grown ups).Kids club (although, we did not use it, it looked quite good). All kids can access the table tennis/library/pool table and internet for free.

Like all resorts, anything you buy there is very marked up, but if you get brekkie included and eat out the rest of the time - not too bad at all!

Our kids loved it and so did we.
