Will we have problems finding accomodation in Hua Hin in August if we don%26#39;t prebook anything?

Basically, no problem as long as you are happy to take whatever is available.
If you prefer to be in a certain location/price range, eg, on the beach, in a high rise, not in a high rise etc, it may pay to do a little research and book at least the first night.

Sound not good for you if you don%26#39;t prebook, if you go there on Long weekend period, you can%26#39;t find the room, and fully booking too. Because most people like to go there, it is nearly Bangkok. Also, you should book the room before arrival.

As Ronny said, you shouldn鈥檛 have a problem finding accommodation, If you%26#39;re budgeting, you%26#39;ll always find rooms along the front road (Naresdamri Rd) this road runs from Chomsin rd near the fishing pier up past the Hilton Hotel to Damnernkasem rd there鈥檚 many small guest houses all sea side in this rd, (Naresdamri) ranging from around 2500Baht luxury (a/c) sea view rooms with roof top terrace ask in the Buffalo Tavern (Buffalo Bills)then there are cheaper rooms The Little Danish (a/c) next door but one to the Buffalo Tavern from 700Baht, Patana guest house (fan %26amp; a/c) (down a small soi opposite the Brasserie De Paris) old style, Thai teak houses 800Baht + for a/c, Bird guest house 1500Baht (opposite Indian Restaurant) a lot of stairs though. This is but a few, but all handy in town. You have higher end heading out of town. Although it is still low season in August most of the schools in Europe are on there summer vacation so it would be better for you to make at least your first night booking as said already in my opinion.
