I have been trying to make a booking for 2 seats on the day train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. I was going to book through Royal Reservations, but my emails have been unanswered. My initial inquiry was answered immediately but now I want to book and pay for the seats, I am getting no reply. Could someone recommend a more reliable booking agent. Thanks in advance.

You can email them direct. All the info you need is available at www.seat61.com in the Thailand section. I have done it this way and it was fine.
