Believe me it said the same for us when we went to the maldives in jan storms rain ect it never rained once and suuny all the time Apart from two hours on a afternoon once! dont look on weather underground ther not very good Enjoy

The weather at the moment is very hot and very sunny.We have had no rain since the beginning of the month.

The forecast on windguru shows some rain later in the week but that can change very quickly.

Hi, it rained a bit this morning, 10 min blast, nothing that would spoil your day though.

We were there first 2 weeks of march and it rained everyday for a bit just watch the mossies

It is GORGEOUS in Samui now. Totally blue sky - unusual because of tropical climate. At night there has been some thunder and rain but during the day - FANTASTIC - for the last 7 days in the north so you should be 1000% fine (I hope!!).

I live 2Km.outside Nathon.Yesterday I stood on the beach in brilliant sunshine whilst watching one hell of a storm over Nathon.Which goes to show that even on a small island the weather can vary even over short distances.

Last month we spent two weeks in Samui and one thing we did learn, don%26#39;t trust the weather forecast. We would look in the Bangkok Post newspaper each morning and our hotel, Sala Samui had a 7 day forecast posted in reception and it showed rain and more rain. Out of our two weeks we had 4 days of rain and the rest of the time it was glorious sunshine.

I don%26#39;t know how they work out their weather forecast because after checking daily on a vast number of weather Internet sites they were all wrong as well, all forecast and rain on days that turned out to be hot and sunny. We were affected by a few storms but they were at night and the locals will tell you when they are on way.

You have to remember you are in a tropical area where there is always a chance of rain and boy can it rain

The Bangkok Post has had thundershowers for Bangkok (and most of Thailand) for over a month now. Personally, I%26#39;d love it to rain just once! TOO hot here now -be careful!
