In Bangkok now need a place to veg for 3 weeks

We are in Bangkok now would like to find a place to veg for awhile.Prefer a nice beach area and few things to explore. Looking to spend approx 2500 to 3000bt. So hot here now need a place with a pool to cool off. We are in our 50%26#39;s so don%26#39;t need a place to party more the laid back booking reading time for now.Any advise on where to go and how to get there would be greatly appreciated thanks again.

Check out smalle islands down south e.g. Koh Ngai, Koh Bulon, Koh Mook. I%26#39;ve been to the first two and love them. Koh Bulon is cheap but transfer can be rough. Koh Ngai is very much resort scene.

We have recently returned from a week in Koh Libong which is very quiet and laid back. Travel from Bangkok by train to Trang in the south and pick up a taxi and boat transfer from there. Alternatively arrive in Trang and the town opens up hundreds of destinations for you to visit and veg out.
