tour company versus independent travel

Hello,

We are a family of 4 traveling to Thailand in December (first time). For those who have traveled to Thailand - would you advise doing so indendently, or with a tour company? We were originally doing so independently.

If you do it independently you have all the fun of the planning as well as the holiday itself. There is a wealth of information on this site to help you.....and it is cheaper!

I absolutely agree with the last post ,TA has so much information and everyone is so very helpful.....BUT its addictive.We have just returned from a 3 week trip family of 4, I had so much fun organizing it,and am really pleased to say everything ran extremely smooth. Don%26#39;t go with a tour company do it yourself .
