Im getting married at Nora Beach Resort, Koh Samui on the 14th Feb 09.

If anyone has had or been to a wedding there before i would love to hear how it went.

We were married at nora last April i%26#39;m more than happy to answer any questions you have, eg makeup hair, flowers, reception. 6 more sleeps and ill be back in thailand.

Hi there. I got married at the Nora beach in April 2006. We had the most fantastic day.

We arrived at the hotel and had our wedding planning meeting. We chose our flowers, flavour of cake, wedding breakfast. The only part of the suggestions the hotel made that I changed was the time of the ceremony. They wanted to do it late afternoon so it wasn%26#39;t too hot but I knew the sun would have gone so felt I hadn%26#39;t traveled that far to have no sun in my wedding pictures!

The staff were fantastic on the day.We were treated to a fab massage in the morning and then given another room to change into our bridal outfits, so we didnt see one another. The only thing I would say about this is they insisted on giving me some %26#39;staff%26#39; to help me get dressed.I had my bridesmaid with me so would have preferred to get on with it on our own with a glass of champagne!

The ceremony itself was everything I had dreamed of and they made it very special.The only thing I hadn%26#39;t anticipated was the whole Hotel watching the proceedings and being wired up to a microphone so they could all hear us!

We enjoyed planting ';our tree';.The BBQ in the evening was the best food we ate on our trip.We finished the evening by letting off some paper lanterns on the beach with our guests...something I would recommend and cost us hardly anything.

I%26#39;m sure you will have a fantastic time and before you get there ask them to upgrade your room as we did free of charge.
