Hotel recommendation

Hi,

I%26#39;m going to Bangkok next month with my wife. I%26#39;m looking for a decent 3* or higher hotel. The criterion is close to the BTS, good approach, clean room and bathroom. The budget is around $40 a night. Any recommendations ?

You can check out the Asia Hotel. It is right on a Skytrain stop. Close to shopping on Phetchaburi Road. This is a ';no bar'; area.

There are lots of good hotels that are ';no star'; hotels that will have air, hot water, private toilet/shower, cable TV, safety box, etc.

One hotel that is economy priced and close to the Skytrain, stores, street vendors, restaurants, etc. is the Atlanta Hotel. The Atlanta is an old fashioned hotel. They do not allow tourists to bring in boyfriends or girlfriends, you have to be married. There is a church nearby too!
