Hi guyz,
Going to Phuket for the first time in two months time. To book tickets to Simon%26#39;s, is it better to do online here or to book it when you are there?
What%26#39;s the actual rate for the show? Check tru the WWW, all different kind of rate.
Your advice is greatly appreciate. Thanks.

Simon's Cabaret
hi just wondering what is simons ? myself and my wife going to phuket for the first time in August - any suggestions as whats NOT to be missed
Hi
I managed to get mine for 550bt for a VIP. Although the VIP is abit of a con because it includes half the theatre!! I got it from a street travel/guide place.
A caution- %26#39;the ladyboys%26#39; stand outside after the shows and you can have individual photos with them. You are then forced to pay a 100bt tip per person per photo. Its abit of a con, but thats how they make their money!
Enjoy the show.
hi glen8888
simons cabaret is a theater in patong ,the show is performed by phukets ladyboys.it is quite a good night out that is sutable for whole family first time we went my little girl loved all the dancing ,singing and the costumes and she thought all the ladies were really pretty( LITTLE DID SHE KNOW). there is no need to book in advance before arrival in phuket , they do 2 shows nightly ,and you can easily book tickets in phuket ,just get V.I.P. tickets for show ,other wise you will be upstairs on the little balcony area,
at the end of the show as you exit ,you get a chance to get your photo taken with the ladyboys, they expect about 100 bart each,
We walked to the thetre from Patong beach (about a ten minute walk) and only a couple of hours before the show. We waited at the very nice bar area at the front and had some drinks and waited for the show to begin. We may have been lucky but we got good seats. Great value for money. I did not think that you would be allowed camera`s , so did not take mine , but people were taking pictures inside the theatre during the show. I think the ticket cost either 700 or 900 Baht each. You can have photo`s with the star`s of the show once the show is over , but I think you have to pay for these?
Thanks guyz, I will go there and get the tickets
Hi we-love-phuket , many thanks for the reply , sounds like good fun indeed , cant wait for august to come but a little nieve as to what to plan to see and where to go . have you any suggestions ? ive read so many mixed reviews as to where to go , which is the best island to go to ? which is the best way to get to the islands ? should i book before i go or is there places to book from when i get there .kind regards
Glenn
Hi Glenn,
Well, this is what I had plan out so far. Maybe this will help. I am just going to stay for 4 days 3 nights.
1st Day
I will rent a bike, round the whole Patong area, surveying around and get Simon%26#39;s ticket at the cheapest rate as possible...hehe. Book PhiPhi island trip the next day. Visit famous Thai temple. Then, of course, I go to the famous Patong Beach although it will be crowded. For meals, I will go to the road side hawker store to try all the Thai Spicy food, personally I think the food will be better compare to all the expensive restaurants. Then, at night, I will go to Bangla Road to see Phuket famous nightlife. Would love to have a look in the go-go bar, I dont think i have to worry because I am bringing my gf along, so personal exp in Bangkok last time, the gals in there will not disturb you if you have a girl beside you.
2nd Day
Phi-Phi Island! Whole day trip till evening around 6pm. Then, maybe stay in my resort, enjoy the swimming pool and jaz.
3rd Day
I will travel to other town, maybe by renting a car if it is cheap. Planning to go to Freedom Beach by renting a long-boat. No access by road from what i read. If I have enough of the beach, I will go to some other beach which have less people, then after lunch, I will go to Phuket Town to shop! If i don%26#39;t rent a car, i will take the local bus there, cheap around 80 bath. Then, there will be like a free lance taxi that will take you around the town for free, there will get commission from the shop, but you have to buy at least something. So, I don%26#39;t know, maybe I will rent a bike at Phuket Town for a day, then ride around or just walk around. When the sun comes down, will go back to Patong area.
4th Day
Relax and ready to go back to working life. :(
