Has anyone been unfortunate enough to experience these?, ill be backpacking through s/e Asia and staying in some %26#39;budget rooms%26#39;.
Bed bugs....
The cheapest room I stayed in is for 400 baht a night on Adang Island - National Park accommodation. The bed/mattress was nice and clean, no problem with bed bugs.
Bed bugs....
Bedbugs are a problem with hotels in all classes, even 5-star, believe it or not. Travellers bring them in, sometimes unwittingly in the lining of their luggage, and they%26#39;re the devil to get rid of. If you are unlucky enough to get a room that has them, demand a change of room, and then go over your luggage and clothing with a fine-toothed comb.
I had to laugh, some time ago there was a poster on another online forum complaining that every hotel he stayed at in Thailand had bedbugs! Obviously he was carrying them in himself.
There%26#39;s apparently a dramatic resurgence of bedbug infestation worldwide right now.
ive just bought a single mattress bug protector from travelcare, better to be safe!:)
